I want to do my career in Regenerative medicine, abroad (primarily US or Germany/ Netherlands)

I am presently pursuing Medical Biotechnology from DY Patil University, Pune in my final year.

I wish to have a better chance of good job overseas and for that, I do wish to do my masters there itself (abroad).

Now my query, as a need of my curriculum, I am supposed to do a 6-month internship during my final semester (i.e from Jan 2019 to June 2019) - I want to use this opportunity of Internship for getting me the best possible career in Regenerative Medicine field.

Hence, want suggestions of all the stalwarts as well as members here, on which place (private lab or university) must I do my Internship - I am also ready to go abroad for this internship, to boost my career - and also wish that this internship should help in landing me into the best possible University for Regenerative medicine.

I hope i am able to pen down my query well.  Your response is highly appreciated.

Hello, I'm posting here in hopes someone on this forum can point me in the right direction.
I'm interested in genetically modifying avian species such as chickens. I am trying to make a breed of chicken that can have the attribute of a homing pigeon that allows it to find its way home.
Does anyone have any books, threads, blogs, articles that someone with little knowledge about this topic can understand? Any help would be appreciated

Hi guys, how can one storage genetic material such as DNA at home for several years? 
Also, what requirements should there be to the freezer that is used, for example should the 
freezer be able to freeze at -20?

Hi Everyone!
I am really pleased to join your community. I find it really enriching and useful.

Today I am writing to you with a really broad question regarding background referred to analytical chemistry.
Currently, I am writing my Master thesis and due to the fact that am only an engineer of biotech; some from aspects of pure analytical chemistry is really not understandable.

Honestly, I am left without an advisor and have nobody to ask for help.
Lets move to the point; I am ordering my results and found myself in a position where I do not understand the difference in the application of cyclic voltammetry and square wave voltammetry.

I made few measurements of a suspension containing an enzyme and a buffer ( not activity one ). I hold in a hand a publication where research group applied a square wave voltammetry and as a standardized value; applied a specific pick on exact potential. I will be really grateful for receiving a short explanation about the difference between those two techniques.

Is it possible to embed transmembrane domain to the protein by inserting sequence which codes mentioned domain to gene that codes the enzyme, in the way that it would allow the protein to become an IMP (integral membrane protein) without depriving it of its enzymatic properties?

I would really appreciate a helpful answer.

Screening tests are offered to asymptomatic people who may or may not have an early disease or disease precursors and test results are used to guide whether or not a diagnostic test should be offered. The result of the test is an estimate of the level of risk and determines whether a diagnostic test is justified.

A screening test is done to detect potential health disorders or diseases in people who do not have any symptoms of the disease. The goal is early detection and lifestyle changes or surveillance, to reduce the risk of disease, or to detect it early enough to treat it most effectively.

A diagnostic test is a procedure performed to confirm or determine the presence of disease in an individual suspected of having a disease, usually following the report of symptoms, or based on other medical test results. Using nuclear medicine to examine a patient suspected of having lymphoma.

I am a gym instructor for almost 3 yrs now, then one day when i woke up i feel a massive pain in my back. I tried many ointment and oil for my back but it didn't work out well. Hello! I am interested in gene engineering technologies, but for now my knowledge is not so large.
Some days ago i was watching TED show about CRISPR technology(this one https://youtu.be/1BXYSGepx7Q), and there was an information about editing of the full organism (means editing genome of each cell) using viruses.
I had an idea about it yet, but I actually don't know how does it work. How can we use viruses to change cell's genes. Could you please tell about it or give some information or books about that theme? Thank's a lot!
