Statistical Analysis System is a one of the best analytical tools which is mainly used in the Clinical Trial. As many were aware that Clinical Trials are vital in the pharmaceutical industry. The data from the Clinical Trials denotes whether the drug can be approved and produced for commercial distribution. FDA has rules that dictates CROs to submit their Clinical Trial data and analytics performed only in SAS. This makes SAS the de facto standard for Clinical Analytics.

The students from Biotechnology and Bioinformatics can learn SAS and get into Clinical Research Organizations. This reveals the whole new scope for professional belonging to Bio-related studies. SAS can be easily taught to students hailing from Bio Background and those who have zero programming skills.

Hello all, I currently work in a local hospital as a phlebotomist and oddly enough I have a bachelor's is psychology as I didn't really know what I wanted to do when I was younger. I'm considering going back to school and have always been fascinated with environmental sciences, especially Conservation Ecology. As I was looking at courses offered at a local community college I saw one program they have as biotechnology. I think this is interesting as it appears to pertain to my current job and according to some research I did, it looks like this field is involved with many environmental fields too. I'm highly considering going into this field as it appears to be quite beneficial to my interests and previous experiences, however I don't want to repeat past mistakes. I feel the focus now should not only be academics, but on practical skills as it appears this seems to offer. For those who are currently in or just trying to find out information as well I 'd very much appreciate any informantion you can give me about this field. Also should I consider getting a master's in Ecology would this help my chances too?

Inquiry to pursue PhD in India

Hi,

My name is Sanya Ahmed (Mrs. Mazharul Haque, mother of a two year old boy). I am a Pakistani national, married to an Indian and residing in West Bengal on Long Term Visa (LTV) provided by the Govt. of India, since December 2013. I have already applied for Indian nationality.

In Pakistan I was enrolled in a joint Mphil/PhD (Molecular Medicine), which I could not continue as I had to travel to India after marriage. I cleared my coursework there and got my synopsis approved in first attempt. I received a band of 7.5/9 in IELTS and was planning to give GRE as these two were the requirements in my previous institution. My BSc Honours (3 year) and MSc with research (1 year) are in Biotechnology. I have also earned a 2 year taught masters in Bioethics (an NIH funded program in Pakistan) with a GPA 3.6/4.

My Inquiry is regarding continuation of my education in India at IIT Kgp. Whether I have to be an Indian national to be eligible or I can pursue PhD here on my current status. Kindly provide me the details.

Thanks.

I am now in 12th standard, I have taken PCB. I want to know about the career options after 12th, except MBBS and BDS. And also what would be the best career option if I have average marks in the 12th board exams, preferably without giving NEET?I also don't like studying much Big Grin (I study, but not for 6-8 hours a day, for 2-4 hours Big Grin )  . Is there a career where you can be successful with average marks?
